Let’s go!

AROUND TOWN

Help Shape the Future of the Current Marshall Elementary School

🚸If you’ve driven down Bonito lately, you may have seen the new Marshall Elementary under construction (you can look through a photo tour of the site here). That new school is set to open in the fall of 2025. Now is the perfect time to re-imagine how the old space can serve the evolving needs of our community. The Flagstaff Unified School District invites you to share your voice. Join the conversation at their next community discussion: Wednesday, January 22 | 6:30 - 8 p.m. | Flagstaff High School Commons

Wash yer hands!

🤢 If you’ve got kids, they may have told you, “Everyone is sick at school!” (much to your dismay). Norovirus, often called the “stomach flu,” is going around, and it can affect people of all ages.

You can help protect yourself and others from Norovirus by:

  • Washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (hand sanitizer does not kill Norovirus)

  • Avoiding sharing food and drinks with others

  • Cleaning surfaces with soap and water, and sanitizing with a 10% bleach solution

  • Staying home when sick

For more information about Norovirus, visit the CDC website.
