Good morning Flagstaff! If you’re thinking of growing zucchini this year, you’ll want to know about the community fridge, which takes donations from anyone. 😉

Annual Eagle Celebration on Saturday

Willow Bend is partnering with Liberty Wildlife and the Arizona Watchable Wildlife Experience to host their Annual Eagle Celebration on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

10:30am-11:30am Eaglets: Family Eagle Presentation (Ages 4-12): Designed for families with young children, this program offers an interactive, engaging experience, concluding with a live eagle encounter.
12:30pm-1:30pm Fully Fledged: Community Eagle Presentation (All Ages): Join a local biologist for an in-depth look at bald eagles and witness these majestic birds up close. This engaging session is open to all ages but is not specifically designed for young children.

FREE - 2:00pm-4:00pm Bonus Field Trip: Watchable Wildlife Bird Viewing: Join the AZ Watchable Wildlife Experience and bird enthusiasts on a bird viewing field trip at Kachina Wetlands Preserve (weather permitting).

Did you know…

We have a wonderful community fridge?

Flagstaff Community Fridges is a 501c3 non-profit addressing food insecurity and normalizing food sharing. They help provide safe and inclusive ways for community members to both donate and receive quality food.

Flag Fridges has recently opened a volunteer run community fridge that is open every day! The fridge receives donations from the Flagstaff CSA, Forestdale Farms and The Station, and anyone can donate to or take food from the fridge.

⌚ Hours: 9am-6pm Monday - Friday, 10:30am-6pm Saturday & Sunday
📍 Location: Outside on the east side of The Murdoch Center, 203 E. Brannen Ave

Leave what you can, take what you need. All are welcome.
