Today is Arizona Gives Day! This annual giving movement unites nonprofits big and small to celebrate their work and increase philanthropy in Arizona. They’ve created an easily searchable site filled with Arizona Non-profits. It provides a safe, secure and easy-to-use way to give to the causes you care the most about.

They hold multiple related events and their next one is a book discussion April 9th!

Neighborhood Resilience Leaders Workshop Series Begins April 3rd
🤝Prepare for disasters, connect with your neighbors, and build a stronger community!
In this six-week course participants will learn skills to engage and mobilize their neighbors on resilience-building projects. The group will distribute DIY HEPA (clean air) filters around the Hub neighborhoods and use this project to learn community-building skills.

Pine Needle Pick-Up Begins
🌲🔥 The City of Flagstaff is providing rollout dumpsters in some Flagstaff neighborhoods to allow residents to remove pine needles near their homes to reduce the risk of wildfire.
University Heights, Railroad Springs: March 31 – April 7
Coconino Estates, Rock Ridge, Ridge Crest, Anasazi Ridge, Linwood, Cheshire: April 25 – May 2
Country Club, Boulder Point: May 5 – May 12
🧤You can also volunteer on Saturday, April 5 to remove excess pine needless and downed branches along the Flagstaff Urban Trail System north of Railroad Springs Blvd.
